CHRISTIAN EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Based on research that even in the best attended churches children attend Sunday School 1.6 times per month, we will be experimenting between September and January with our Sunday School program. Two Sundays in a month we will have actual teaching concurrent with the 11 o’clock service and on the missing Sundays we will offer the program concurrent with the 9:30 a.m. service. A program of music and/or drama will be offered on the missing Sundays at 11:00 when there is no teaching and similarly at the 9:30 a.m. service when there is no teaching. In addition to this we hope to offer a two hour session one Saturday each month when we can put in a concentrated session of teaching that will compensate for the already established pattern by many families of attending 2/4 or 1 in 4 Sundays a month. This will evolve as parents express the need and make the commitment to get the children there.
The Saturday sessions will provide a time for us to offer parents support programs and take-home materials to reinforce learning.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION FOR ADULTS
We will continue our Thursday studies of the gospel for the subsequent Sunday. The Studies will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. and finish at 12:00 Noon in time for the 12:15 p.m. Eucharist. A period of refreshment will follow. Starting September 6th the Studies will be held in the Lower Parish Hall or the gallery, depending on numbers.
